Designed for children aged 7–16 years and their parent or guardian, these relaxed, lifeguarded sessions offer the perfect opportunity to explore our beautiful private lake, build confidence and create lasting family memories.

Whether you’re introducing your child to paddle boarding for the first time or simply looking for a fun outdoor activity to enjoy together, our Family SUP Sessions are suitable for all abilities.

Please note: This is not an instructor-led lesson. If you’d like to learn the fundamentals of paddle boarding, we recommend booking one of our Beginner Paddle Boarding Lessons or Kids Paddle Boarding Lessons first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need previous paddle boarding experience?

No. Families are welcome to join, although this is not a coached lesson. If you’d prefer tuition before heading out independently, we recommend booking one of our paddle boarding lessons first.

Do adults have to go on the water?

Yes. Every child must be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian on the water throughout the session.

Can we hire paddle boards?

Yes. Paddle board hire is available for £8.50 per board, or you’re welcome to bring your own.

What should we wear?

Swimwear or clothing you’re happy to get wet, plus a towel and a change of clothes.

Is it safe?

Yes. All sessions are lifeguarded, and buoyancy aids are provided for everyone using our equipment.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Most sessions continue in light rain. If conditions are unsafe, we’ll contact you to rearrange your booking.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Bookings can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before your session using the link in your confirmation email. Changes within 24 hours are non-refundable.
