In Loving Memory – Wild Wood Charity Day 💛

This is a photo of my wonderful dad.

He died on 26th January ago after a particularly cruel battle with Alzheimer’s — a journey so many families heartbreakingly understand.

In his honour, and in the hope of sparing other families from going through the same pain, we’re hosting a charity day at Wild Wood in support of Alzheimer's Research UK.

It will be warm-hearted, a little eccentric and slightly bonkers — just like he was — and all the better for it.

April 26th from 1pm to 3pm

🌊 Sponsored Wild Swim

At the heart of the day will be our *Sponsored Lake Swims*.

You can take part for a *minimum donation of £7.50* via our JustGiving link.

When signing up, please clearly state: SPONSORED SWIMMER (so we can understand the number of swimmers in the water).

You can also use the very same link to invite friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you — helping us raise as much money as possible for this vital cause.

Whether you dip, dunk, paddle or fully submerge, every splash makes a difference.

This won’t just be a swim — it will be a full Wild Wood celebration of life, community and generosity.
